A Washington, Missouri landmark, Marquarts Landing was built in 1855 and was originally called the Pacific House, a name derived from the new raiload line.

The Landing was built to accommodate the influx of people coming to the area due to the Pacific Railroad, and in the beginning most of the guests were employees of the railroad.

Over the years the building has always housed a tavern and hotel of some sort. Owners Rick and Karen Marquart have continued that tradition.

Marquart’s Landing features a full menu and daily specials. The pizzas are legendary and The Landing burgers are a must try! The beef for The Landing burgers gets ground fresh from Williams Brothers Meat Market.

Sit down inside or on the patio to enjoy a drink with an appetizer of hot wings, cheese balls, toasted ravioli and so much more.

Marquart’s Landing combines the old, historic feel with many modern day pleasures, such as several flat screen televisions for customers to watch the hottest sporting events LIVE at their favorite bar! The Landing’s spacious patio overlooks the beautiful Missouri River and has a full-service non-smoking inside-out bar. Sit back, relax, and enjoy live entertainment on weekends.

While enjoying your stay on the patio, train lovers can sit and watch the trains go by or wait to catch their ride on Amtrak. Come in and see for yourself why Marquart’s Landing is a great place to eat, drink, and relax on Washingtons historic riverfront.
